As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. Sales Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in securing new clients through value proposition analysis and demonstration, enhancing the success of our current clients, and strengthening our positioning with industry analysts, independent software vendors (ISVs) and Systems Integrators (SIs). New Client Development: Work closely with prospective clients and the ketteQ Sales team to understand their specific supply chain needs and requirements, and design solutions within the suite of ketteQ products to address their challenges effectively.
Client Education: Educate existing clients and prospective clients on how to maximize the value of the ketteQ platform, offering training and guidance, typically through demonstrations of the ketteQ products, to ensure they can effectively use the software to optimize their supply chain and reach their business goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within ketteQ, including Sales, Product Management, and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment in delivering ketteQ’s messaging and value to prospects.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to develop proposals and solutions that align with client needs, providing technical expertise and support during the pre-sale process to secure new clients.
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies:
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, supply chain management, or a related discipline is typically required.
Experience: In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and related software solutions. Familiarity with SQL and the ketteQ product suite is a plus.
Requirements Gathering: A deep understanding of client needs and a strong commitment to ensuring client satisfaction and success. Proficiency in collecting and documenting client requirements for supply chain solutions to identify significant value propositions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: A collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with various teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Marketing, to align efforts and deliver value to clients.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including demonstration of ability to effectively interact with existing and prospective clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
