At ketteQ, innovation isn't just about technology. It's about the people and partnerships that bring new ideas to life. In this edition of our ketteCrew Spotlight series, we're introducing Jenny Newton Meacham, VP of Alliances, whose passion for connecting people plays an important role in expanding ketteQ's partner ecosystem.
With a career spanning supply chain technology, consulting, and strategic alliances, Jenny brings a unique perspective on building successful partnerships and how collaboration is evolving in the age of AI. We sat down with Jenny to learn more about her career, her approach to partnerships, and what excites her about being part of the ketteCrew.
My role sits at the crossroads of technology and consulting. I lead ketteQ's partnership strategy, working with supply chain and technology consulting firms that help bring our solutions to clients and support implementations.
A typical day involves connecting with our partner community and collaborating with our go-to-market, marketing, delivery, and client success teams. We're also constantly exploring new partnerships to identify opportunities for collaboration.
I love the breadth of the role and the opportunity to connect people and ideas across different organizations.
I've always been a natural connector, bringing together people from different backgrounds and finding ways for them to collaborate. Being able to use that ability to create value for ketteQ, our partners, and the clients we serve is incredibly fulfilling.

I actually majored in Supply Chain Management somewhat by chance! When I was studying business at Auburn University during the global economic crisis, the supply chain program had a 100% job placement rate. I chose it as employment insurance without knowing much about the field.
Once I started taking classes, I became fascinated by how everything around us gets where it needs to be, from manufacturing and transportation to the countless decisions involved.
I've stayed because there's always something new to learn, and companies constantly face new challenges. The pandemic demonstrated how essential interconnected supply chains are and why organizations must continuously evolve.
From my earliest interactions, I admired ketteQ's "small but mighty" approach.
What really stood out was the company's agility. It's one thing to talk about innovation and outline product roadmaps. It's another to see strategic changes happening in real time and reaching the market within weeks.
I also noticed the intellectual curiosity shared across the ketteCrew. It became clear that something special was happening here, and I wanted to be part of it.
Transparency is probably the most important quality. Consulting firms often work with multiple technology providers, just as we collaborate with multiple consulting firms. Being open about those relationships and sharing information builds trust.
Lasting partnerships also require honoring commitments and setting clear expectations from the beginning. I sometimes joke that my job is like matchmaking. Both sides need to understand what they're bringing to the relationship.
Many of us at ketteQ have worked in consulting ourselves, which helps us understand our partners' perspectives, establish credibility, and build stronger relationships.

I think we're moving away from the traditional model where software companies build products and ask consulting partners to sell and implement them.
The future is much more collaborative. Instead of saying, "Here's what we've built," the conversation becomes, "What technology will bring the most value to your clients, and how can we work together to build that?"
With agentic AI and ketteQ's AI Studio, there's an opportunity for technology providers, consulting partners, and customers to work together to develop solutions that address real business needs.
For someone interested in alliances, I'd recommend developing expertise in a specific business function, industry, or technology area. You want to contribute more than simply connecting people. Having that knowledge allows you to provide meaningful insights and become a trusted resource.
For anyone entering supply chain technology, remember that what you know matters, but who you know is important too. Building relationships across technology companies, consulting firms, and industry practitioners can create opportunities throughout your career.
My favorite thing is spending time with my six-year-old son. Whether I'm helping coach his cross-country team, watching baseball practices, going to the movies, or enjoying impromptu dance parties, he's genuinely the light of my life.
I also teach Sunday school, lead women's Bible studies, and attend as many Auburn football games as possible with my family.
Something colleagues might not know is that I grew up as a competitive dancer! I trained, performed, and competed in different styles of dance from ages three to 22.
The momentum and enthusiasm everyone brings to their work is truly inspiring. People genuinely care about making the company successful, regardless of their individual contributions.
Humility is one of our core values, and I see it demonstrated constantly. Every quarter, when nominating colleagues for our ketteKudos awards, I struggle to choose because I can think of a meaningful example of humility from every person I've worked with.
That says a lot about the people here and our culture.

For Jenny, successful partnerships are built on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to creating value. Her passion for connecting people reflects what makes the ketteCrew unique: a team dedicated to collaboration, innovation, and helping organizations rethink what's possible in supply chain planning.
Stay tuned for our next ketteCrew Spotlight as we introduce more of the people behind ketteQ's innovation.
