Back-End Developer

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities ‍

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code with unit tests and integration tests
• Maintain and develop back-end frameworks to build server-side software
• Database creation, integration, and management
• Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs
• Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Keep on top of new technologies
• Interact with BA's, QA's and other peer to clarify business requirements
• Engage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planning
• Support demo development activities

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies‍

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Java Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other DBMs
• Experience developing solutions on public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience in parallel programming, distributed algorithms,distributed resource management systems
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable back-ends including microservices, API gateways, and REST APIs
• Experience in Spring Framework
• Experience in Linux
• C++ experience a plus
• ETL knowledge a plus
