Events Marketing Manager

About the Job

About ketteQ

ketteQ isn’t just another SaaS company. We’re disruptors, innovators and change agents leading a revolution in supply chain planning. Powered by AI, machine learning, and our patent-pending PolymatiQ™ solver, ketteQ helps the world’s most forward-thinking companies unlock new levels of agility, adaptability, and financial performance.

As our growth accelerates, we’re looking for an Events Marketing Manager who knows that events aren’t about menus, venues, and swag bags—they’re about pipeline, relationships, and results.

Position Overview

This is not a “halls and walls” position. If you think success is measured in badge scans and booth size, this isn’t the role for you.

At ketteQ, events are high-stakes business investments. Whether it’s a trade show, executive roundtable, webinar, or our flagship customer conference (ketteQuest), every event must earn its place by delivering measurable value in the form of marketing-qualified leads, sales pipeline value, expanded customer relationships, and strategic brand impact.

You’ll be the one making that happen.

This role blends strategic planning with operational excellence, creative vision with analytical rigor. You’ll work closely with marketing, sales, customer success, and leadership to ensure every event is aligned with business goals and that the return on investment is clear.

You’ll also understand the behavioral side of events. You know how boothmanship, body language, signage, flow, and energy shape interactions. You’ll train teams, shape experiences, and make sure our presence is not just seen but remembered.

If you thrive in fast-moving SaaS environments, speak both “brand” and “pipeline,” and treat every event like a business case—this is your seat at the table.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of all ketteQ events including industry trade shows, executive dinners, customer meetups, webinars, and ketteQuest.
  • Prioritize events that align to business objectives and deliver measurable impact.
  • Forecast expected outcomes for each event in terms of MQLs, pipeline contribution, customer expansion and ensure they are tracked and reported post-event.
  • Maintain and optimize the events calendar and budget based on performance and ROI.

Execution & Optimization

  • Lead end-to-end execution from vendor coordination and content development to booth logistics and on-site support.
  • Ensure every element of the event reflects our brand, values, and messaging from signage and presentations to interactions on the show floor.
  • Post-event, deliver clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to continuously raise the bar.

Behavioral & Experiential Design

  • Coach internal teams on the art of boothmanship—how to show up, engage authentically, and maximize every moment on the floor.
  • Design environments that encourage connection and conversion—understanding how physical space, messaging, and energy shape perception and outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with content, product, sales, and customer success to ensure each event supports integrated go-to-market campaigns and customer lifecycle goals.
  • Align closely with demand gen and digital teams to promote events and extend their impact across channels.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Track key event metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement, MQLs, pipeline value, and customer retention influence.
  • Deliver post-event analysis and strategic recommendations for future investments.
  • Constantly improve forecasting models and ROI frameworks to make smarter, faster decisions.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience managing events in a fast-growing B2B SaaS or tech environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple event types and sizes from intimate executive gatherings to large-scale industry conferences.
  • Strong understanding of event ROI modeling and comfort estimating and reporting on MQLs, pipeline impact, and customer retention outcomes.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives cross-functionally and brings others along with energy, clarity, and purpose.
  • Comfortable with tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • A sharp eye for both brand integrity and business value—you care about design, experience, and results equally.
  • A deep appreciation for the human psychology of events—you know how people move, interact, and make decisions in physical and digital spaces.
  • Hands-on, resourceful, proactive meaning you don’t wait for instructions, you create momentum.
